On April 28th, researchers from the Department of Investment, Prof. Monika Foltyn-Zarychta, and Dr. Rafał Buła, delivered guest lectures for students at the Warsaw School of Economics. The topics discussed during the lectures focused on intergenerational investment issues ("Selected Aspects of Evaluating the Efficiency of Intergenerational Investments") and discount rate estimation ("Estimating the Discount Rate in Evaluating the Efficiency of Intergenerational Investments"), particularly within the energy sector. The attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a field trip to the Kozienice Power Plant, the largest coal-fired power plant in Poland by installed capacity.
